To set up a new Training Course, click on the New button.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Training Course

The identification number or name of the course.

Type radio buttons

The type of Training Course. The following fields will appear depending on which radio button is selected.

A/C Type/Series - The Aircraft Type and Series/Fleet assignment. Aircraft type and series descriptions that the course will be focused on. This field only appears when the A/C radio button is selected.

Engine/Type - Engine type description that the course will be focused on. This field only appears when the Engine radio button is selected.

Status

The current status of the Training Course. The choices are: Active, Inactive, and Cancel. When initially setting up a new Training Course, the status should be set to Active.

Internal / External

Indicates if this class will be conducted by an internal or external source.

Training Course Category

The category with which this Training Course is associated.

Level

Select the Training course level.

Training Course Description

A general description of the Training Course.

Mandatory checkbox

When selected, employees who enroll into the specified Training Course must have the required Skills in their employee record (Settings/Update/Employee).

Minimum Grade

The minimum grade required in order to pass the course.
