E/C Analyzer Button, via Engineering Authorization Management

 

The E/C Analyzer but_ec analyzer button provides a different look at the search results in the E/C Authorization windows. When selected, the same E/C search fields are available, but the results include various columns that will help the E/C authorization team quickly review important details. Instead of showing the regular E/C columns (Control Type, Category, Status, and Revision), it shows fields such as Schedule, Skills, Chap/Sec, etc. Then when an E/C record is selected, the standard E/C Authorization detail window opens.

ENG Request Button, via Engineering Control

 

The ENG Request engineering request button button allows users to raise Engineering Requests within the Task Card/Engineering Control windows. Selecting the button will display the W/O Task Card/Defect Engineering Request pop up window. Enter the desired information in the appropriate fields and save the record to implement it into the system.

Engineering Request Review Detail, Notes History Tab

 

The Engineering Request Review, Notes History tab displays all notes posted against the Engineering Request record from this window or the Production Control app. The Note History will also be visible within the relevant Engineering Request record from the Production Control Engineering tab.

Import Button, via Engineering Authorization Management

 

The Import import button ean button allows users to upload a .xlsx file that will link E/C with T/Cs regardless of the T/C status.

 

Import Task Card, via Task Card Selection

Provided additional contextual image location reference for the import button and edited the reference table to match a new Excel Import template.

Ops No Field, via Task Card Item Authorization, General Tab

 

OPS NO Field - Operations Number (OPS NO) is a custom field reference to a customer's SAP Operations number. This value associates the SAP Operations Number used for the time booking interface to the last four digits of the respective Task Card item. Task cards interfaced from SAP will always include the OPS Number as a suffix to the task number. Also enables association of the SAP Ops No against new items being created against the Task Card.

Forms Button, via Engineering Request Review Detail

 

The Forms but_View Forms button is used to respond to questions that are relevant to the Engineering Request.

 

Task Card Item, General Tab

Note: The Task Card Item Text button is powered via RichTextEditor, allowing users to have advanced control (such as editing, resizing, and more) over multimedia imports (video, images, and sound files) and font/text styles.

Task Card Validation Button, via Task Card Selection

 

The Task Card Validation but_task card validation button works in conjunction with the Import Task Cards Button. When the import contains a Task Number column value with a suffix (last four characters) that matches the value in the OPS_NO column of the import, an exception will be triggered. These exceptions will be retrievable through the Task Card Validation but_task card validation button after the data has been imported. The OPS No value is a customer-specific SAP operations number reference, which, once imported, is listed in the Task Card Item.

Note: This button is part of highly customized functionality and is therefore not applicable for other eMRO operators.

Engineering Switches

When set to Yes, the Major Repair checkbox will appear in the Defect Report Detail, Resolution tab. When set to No, the Major Repair checkbox will not appear in the Defect Report Detail, Resolution tab.
