E/C To Be Complied With, via Engineering Control, Schedule Control Tab

The E/C To Be Complied With control is used where upon compliance to the parent E/C the child E/C also receives a compliance record.

When the parent E/C is added to a W/O, the child E/C To Be Complied With does not get added to the W/O; however, the child E/C To Be Complied With will receive a compliance record when the W/O is Post Completed and the parent E/C is complied with.

Note: The compliance of an aircraft E/C cannot write compliance to P/N E/C, and vice versa.

Note: This control may be utilized multiple times to set up an unlimited number of parent/child E/C relationships.

E/C To Be Complied With example:

Using the above parent/child E/C relationship, the parent E/C is added to a W/O. Notice that the child E/C To Be Complied with did not follow and was not added to the W/O.

The W/O task cards are closed and the W/O is Post Completed. A compliance record is written for the parent E/C.

The child E/C also received a compliance record. Notice the Complied With By E/C field appears and is populated with the E/C that drove the compliance to be written.
