The E/C To Be Terminated control is used where upon compliance to the parent E/C the child E/C is terminated. Note: The compliance of an aircraft E/C cannot terminate a P/N E/C. Note: When the status of the E/C is Open, or Applicable/Not Embody, and compliance is manually written, the functionality of termination will still occur. Note: This control may be utilized multiple times to set up an unlimited number of parent/child E/C relationships. If the child E/C is complied with (but not via the compliance of the E/C To Be Terminated parent E/C), by default, the child E/C's repeat number will determine when the E/C is terminated.
E/C To Be Terminated example: Using the above parent/child E/C relationship, the parent E/C is added to a W/O for A/C 201. The W/O task cards are closed and the W/O is Post Completed. A compliance record is written for the parent E/C. The child E/C also received a compliance record. Notice the Complied With By E/C field populates with the E/C that caused the compliance to be written. And the child E/C has been terminated for A/C 201. |
