Engineering Content

The System Transaction Codes are displayed with both the Code Names and Descriptions. The Code Descriptions directly illustrate their functionality and role in the system, as fields are populated and tasks are performed.

Transaction Code:	Engineering Content
General Description:	Define categorized notations (content) to auto-populate the E/C Content tab based on the E/C Category specified in the transcode.

Here the user can specify the categorized notations (Engineering Content) that can be added to the lower portion of the E/C Content tab (Engineering/ Update/ Engineering Control Selection).

The following information/options are available in this window:

E/C Category

In the Engineering Content System Transaction Code, if an E/C Category is specified, when an E/C is created with the same E/C Category then that Engineering Content notation will automatically populate in the E/C's Content tab.

Note: Switch ADDCONT must be set to Yes for the Engineering Content to automatically appear in the lower portion of the E/C Content tab. If Switch ADDCONT is set to No, when a new E/C is created with the applicable E/C Category, the Engineering Content will not populate the lower portion of the E/C Content tab. However, the user may manually add Engineering Content under the E/C Content tab.
