The Defect On P/N button allows the user to enter the Part Number/ Serial Number of the component which was the root cause of the Defect.

From the Defect Report Detail, General tab, select the Defect On P/N button.

The Defect Report P/N S/N window appears:

The following information/options are available in this window:

Defect P/N

The Part Number which caused the defect.

Defect S/N

Serial Number of the part which caused the defect.

Engine Incident checkbox

If the Defect P/N is related to an Engine Incident.

Engine Full Load Take Off checkbox

If the Defect P/N is related to an Engine Full Load Take Off.

Note: Shop Non-Routines maybe be auto generated from the P/N S/N from Defects Reports entered. Additionally, the Engine Incident and Engine Full Load Take Off may be noted against the RO Control Tab.
