Auto Exchange Order Out [P/N Pool]The Auto Exchange Order Out option allows customers to set up an auto generated Exchange Order Out when parts from a P/N Pool Agreement are returned to stock. Once the inventory owner (or Vendor) and the Customer have agreed upon the terms and conditions of the P/N Pool Agreement, the Vendor will then create the P/N Pool. The basis of the contract is the Vendors agreement to ensure that the parts needed for the aircraft in the Pool Agreement are available in the specified location and condition at all times. Pool Agreements are specific to a customer and an aircraft and only one contract can exist per aircraft when the Exchange Order Out option is selected. Component pool support allows customers to carry out their operations with high component reliability and availability. Once an aircraft is in the hangar, a Work Order will be created for the maintenance. The P/N Pool Selection option allows the Vendor to search for Pool Agreements per contract or aircraft. Once the contract is located, the Vendor must determine if the parts needed for maintenance are available in the inventory location. If the parts are available, they will be issued to the Work Order. If the parts are not available, the Vendor must procure these parts as per the Pool Agreement. Once the parts have been exchanged, the serial number that has been removed from the aircraft will be returned to stock. Upon the return to stock transaction, the Exchange Order Out will be auto generated. The following examples provide additional information:
