Tools Inventory

Once a tool part has been received and inspected (if applicable), and is booked into stock, the Tool Inventory option is used to manage the activity of the tool. Managing the inventory is accomplished with the buttons that appear on the Tool Inventory Header and Tool Inventory Detail.

Note: This field is security controlled in the Security Explorer via Inventory/ Update/ Tools Inventory. For more information, refer to the Security Explorer via the System Administration Training Manual.

Smart Query Button, via Inventory Supervisor

The Smart Query button utilizes cutting edge AI technology to perform natural language queries in eMRO. This button uses ChatGPT's artificial intelligence to bridge possible logic gaps that appear when querying records using the host window's primary search filters. As such, users can use this button to enter phrases and/or sentences that reflect the parameters of their desired query. Once submitted, eMRO will display an associated filter alongside the records that fall under the search criteria.
