Note: If the Install/Remove transaction is for an NHA, the company for each of its NLAs will also change.

Note: G/L Interface switch FARMSVINS must be set to Yes in order for switch SWAPCOMP to function correctly.

Switch Set to Yes:

When set to Yes, if an Install/Remove transaction is performed for parts without fixed assets, and the parts belong to different companies, the Company information will be swapped.

Through the Inventory Transaction window note the following S/N FN1004 belongs to Company A.

Through the Inventory Transaction window note the following S/N FN1003 belongs to Company B.

As shown through the Fixed Asset Registry Query window S/N FN1004 has no fixed asset.

As shown through the Fixed Asset Registry Query window S/N FN1003 also has no fixed asset.

From the A/C P/N Transaction window an Install/Remove transaction is performed removing S/N FN1003 and installing S/N FN1004 on the 'COMP-B' aircraft.

From the Inventory Transaction window notice that S/N FN1004 has changed from Company A to Company B.

From the Inventory Transaction window notice that S/N FN1003 has changed from Company B to Company A.

Switch Set to No:

When set to No, if an Install/Remove transaction is performed for parts without fixed assets, and the parts belong to different companies, the Company information will not be swapped.

Through the Inventory Transaction window note the following S/N FN1003 belongs to Company B.

As shown through the Fixed Asset Registry Query window S/N FN1004 has no fixed asset.
