This field is used to calculate the surcharge of a Repair Order for a quote. The value in this field is applied to the Repair Surcharge field when the R/O Cost field and/or the Shop Cost fields are populated.

In the following examples, the RO Surcharge % for this quote is 5.0%.

Exchange Transactions:

The following calculation applies to all of the exchange transactions:

• LLP Exchange
• New Exchange
• OH Exchange

(RO Surcharge % * R/O Cost) + (RO Surcharge % * Shop Cost) = Repair Surcharge

(5.0% * 1,000) + (5.0% * 100.00)

50.00 + 5.00 = 55.00

Repair Surcharge = 55.00

Sales Transactions:

The following calculation applies to all of the sales transactions including the Handling transaction:

• LLP Sale
• New Sale
• OH Sale
• Handling

RO Surcharge % * Shop Cost = Repair Surcharge

5.0% * 100.00

Repair Surcharge = 5.00

Note: The Inspected and Shop Repair transactions do not consider the value in the RO Surcharge Percentage field.
