This field is used to calculate the surcharge limit per record for new sell items. The value in this field is applied to the Part Surcharge field when the New Sale radio button is selected.

In the following example, the New Surcharge Single Limit will be used to demonstrate the functionality of the Single Limit option. The New Surcharge % for this quote is 10.0% and the New Surcharge Single Limit is 500.00.

New Surcharge % * Material = Part Surcharge

10.0% * 15,000.00

= 1,500.00

Part Surcharge = 500.00

Regardless of the Material amount entered, the part Surcharge will not exceed 500.00 for any item in the quote.
