The Task Card Authorization, Allowed Locations tab allows the user to add Locations/Sites to a Task Card. Whenever an attempt is made to attach a Task Card to a Work Order that is not assigned to any of the allowed locations specified in this tab, the system will issue a soft warning to inform the user of the discrepancy.

Note: This tab is only available if Engineering Switch LOCSITEALLOWED is set to Yes. This tab can still be updated after a Task Card has been authorized when Engineering Switch TCVIAREV is set to Yes.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Location

The Location for maintenance events, inventory stores, orders, transactions, or training events. Once the Task Card is attached to a Work Order, the system will compare this location to the one specified for the W/O.

Site

The Site where the work should be carried out (if applicable). Once the Task Card is attached to a Work Order, the system will compare this site to the one specified for the W/O.

Multiple records can be added or removed through the New and Delete buttons.

Relevant information can be included through the Notes and Attachment buttons.

Note that the location of the Work Order is not one of the allowed locations specified in the Task Card Authorization, Allowed Locations tab.

When an attempt is made to attach the T/C to the W/O, a soft warning will inform the user that the location of the W/O does not match any of the allowed locations specified in the Task Card.

The system will issue the same warning when an Engineering Control carrying this T/C is attached to the W/O.
