G/L Interface

The General Ledger Interface Module manages accounting related information in the system.

Note: This module does not contain accounts payable functionality.

The G/L Interface Module uses Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as a foundation for it’s accounting functionality. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles are a set of uniform accounting rules for recording and reporting financial data.

There are a number of elements that need to be set up for a successful implementation of financial control within the system.

They are explained in detail below. This option is usually interfaced with a third party financial application.

Note: The system is not an Accounts Payable system and does not provide Accounts Payable functionality. It is essentially a recording and reporting system, but it does has the capability of feeding the recorded information into a separate A/P system via program interface if required. The system only records Journal Entries based on specific inventory and invoicing transactions.
