Training Enrollment/Completion: Method B

The Employee Enrollment but_employee_enrollment_small button offers an alternate (simplified) use of the Training module where only the Training Course Registration option is used to manage all Training Course information.
This alternate method is referred to as METHOD B in this section.

Note: If your organization does not use METHOD B, security access to the Employee Enrollment but_employee_enrollment_small button should be turned off.
If your organization will use METHOD B, the only option that should be available in the Training/ Update menu is the Training Course Registration. Within the Training Course Registration option, the Training Course Registration Schedule button (Employee Schedule but_employee_schedule_small button) should be turned off.

Using METHOD B, the entire management of Training within the system is performed within the Training Course Registration option (Training Course/Update/ Training Course Registration). A general flow of the processes involved when using METHOD B follows.

  1. The Training Course must first be set up using the Training Course Registration option. Please refer to the Training Course Registration section for instructions regarding proper Training Course set up.
  2. Employees are enrolled for the Training Course via the Employee Enrollment but_employee_enrollment_small button.
  3. Employee grading information is entered via the Completion but_completion_small button.

Note: Method B does not work with Training Forecasting.
