Tear Down Report, General Tab

The Tear Down Report General tab, via Receiving/ Update/ Tear Down Report, is used to search for Tear Down Reports in the system. As with the majority of query windows in the system, it is better to select as many parameters as required to minimize search result.

 

The following information/options are available in this window:

Status

The status of the Tear Down Report being searched.

Type

The type of order associated to the Tear Down report. Based upon the order type, certain receiving, financial, and inventory behaviors will be assigned to the part at receiving. Tear Down reports can only be associated to the following order types:

R/O - Repair Order

E/X - Exchange Order

W/O - Work Order

P/O - Purchase Order

L/O - Loan Order

Order No.

The order number associated to the Tear Down report.

Note: If the order entered is not in the system, the following message will appear.

Legacy System Order Number

The legacy number related to the order. The legacy number is typically identified and used by customers during implementation to cross reference their old systems order number to the new systems order number.

Location

The Location for maintenance events, inventory stores, orders, transactions, or training events.

Ship From Location

The location from which the Tear Down Report item was shipped. All ship locations must be identified as an inventory location in the Location Master.

Priority

The order priority associated to the Tear Down Report.

Category

The order category associated to the Tear Down Report.

Vendor/Customer drop down

The system code for the service/part provider.

P/N

The Part Number reference for the aircraft part. The part number associated to the Tear Down Report.

S/N

The Serial Number for the specific serialized part. The serial number associated to the Tear Down Report of the part.

Expedite Date

The order expedite date associated to Tear Down Report.

Condition

The condition of the part number associated to the Tear Down Report.

All / Maintenance / General Inventory / GSE Inventory

Filter to search for maintenance inventory, general inventory, GSE inventory, or all inventory associated to the order.

Note: Please refer to the Settings manual for additional information regarding maintenance, general or GSE inventory if required.

The Export as Excel button can be selected to view the queried data (including all pages) in an Excel spreadsheet. This Excel file can be saved for later use. For more information refer to the Export as Excel Button via the eMRO System Standards manual.

The Columns columns actual button button is used to select which columns will appear in the the window's search results/table section. For more information, refer to Columns Button via the eMRO System Standards manual.

The Filter/Sort filter sort button button is used to alter the search criteria for records associated with the host module and window. For more information, refer to Filter/Sort Button via the eMRO System Standards Module.
