W/O Non-Routine Task Card, Costing Tab

In the Costing tab, the appropriate project team member has the ability to input a labor quote against the NR that can be sent for customer validation on the Customer Portal. The information in this window can be updated and saved before authorizing the scope of work for this task. For additional information, refer to the Verification/Authorization Process topic via the Production Control Training Manual.

The following information/options are available in this window:

E/C

The Engineering Control that specifies aircraft or component scheduled maintenance intervals. Select the E/C that this Non-Routine should be linked to.

Note: This field can be modified after the applicable NR has been closed.

Note: This field is mandatory for all authorization steps.

Estimated Hours

The sum of Man Hours on the N/R's Items. This field is only available to the vendor.

Note: This field is auto-populated based on the man hour requirements listed in Items tab or from the Called On T/C(s).

Quoted Hours

The amount of man hours to quote to the customer.

Note: This field must be entered manually.

Note: This field can be modified after the applicable NR has been closed.

Labor Rate

The amount the labor (hourly rate) is being sold at.

Note: The value of this field defaults to the value specified in the HRS Rate field of the linked contract's Flat/Surcharge/Addbill window. The HRS Rate field is only available under the Labor Flat selection in the Flat/Surcharge/Addbill window. The Labor Rate field can be modified from this window or in Production Control. When a Non-Routine is created it will inherit the Labor Rate set up for the W/O-N/R Category for the applicable Customer Contract.

Note: This field can be modified after the applicable NR has been closed.

Note: This field can be updated manually.

Note: If the Customer Contract has a CAP Rule in effect that applies to this N/R, then the Labor Rate entered in this window will be overridden by the Labor Rate for that CAP Rule.

Additional Charge

Charges in addition to the man hour/labor rate.

Note: This field can be modified after the applicable NR has been closed.

Note: This field must be entered manually.

Total

Total cost for the task to be completed. (Quoted Hours X Labor Rate + Additional Charge = Total)

Exclusion Type

The exclusion type is used to identify if the work for the Non-Routine Task Card can be accomplished within the terms of the contract. These options come from the Exclusions button of the linked Customer Contract.

Email

Select from the Customer email address to be emailed from the drop down.

Note: Users can select more than one Customer email address to send email notifications to at once. The email addresses available from the drop down are set up in the Customer Portal application (Vendor access). From the Customer Portal Dashboard, find the applicable customer and select the Contacts button within that customer's tile.

Note: Internal company email alerts are set up through the Project Team Tab, via Production Control.

Send to Customer Portal for Authorization checkbox

Select this checkbox to have the NRTC sent to the Customer Portal for verification. The NRTC will not be sent to the customer until all the tabs have been authorized.

Note: An email will be sent to the Customer and Vendor/MRO alerting them that final Authorization for the N/R can be done.

Note: The email used to notify the applicable Customer is set up through the Company Contacts window, via the Customer Portal application. The email used to notify the applicable Vendor/MRO is set up the from the Projects Teams tab, via Production Control.

Sent to Customer button

This button indicates that the NRTC has been verified and authorized. Select this button to sent the NRTC to the customer (via Customer Portal) to be approved. For additional information, refer to the Verification/Authorization Process topic via the Production Control Training Manual.

Authorized button

This button indicates that the customer has accepted the NRTC through the Customer Portal.

Rejected button

This button indicates that the NRTC has been rejected. This rejection contains the date, the party who created the rejected and the reason.

Pending Authorization

The above text indicates that the tab is pending authorization.

Authorized

The above text indicated that the tab has been authorized.

Remarks

Informational text that can only be seen by the vendor (Production Control), not by the customer (Customer Portal).

Note: This field can be modified after the applicable NR has been closed.
