Value of Part Based on Condition, via ConditionThe Value of Part based on Condition field allows the user to establish a value of a part based on a Condition Transaction Code. Once this Condition is selected during the Order Receiving process of an Exchange Order Out, the Local F/A Amount for Part Number will be re-evaluated based on the Value of Part based on Condition percentage. In the following example, the Value of the Part based on Condition is set to 50.0 for Condition MOD. Part Number 78921-B has a Unit Sell price of 1,000.00. Below are the Journal Expenditure accounts for the ASSET/ADJUSTMENT Category Code. The Local F/A Amount for P/N S/N 006 is 1,000.00. An Exchange Order Out Order is created for P/N 78921-B with Condition NEW. The part is issued to the Exchange Order Out. When receiving the Exchange Order Out transaction, the Condition field has been changed to MOD. The incoming part will replace and revalue the asset of the part being sent out. The Exchange Order Out is Accepted during Receiving Inspection. A Journal Entry is written for the Asset Adjustment. The Local F/A Amount has been adjusted according to the receiving of the P/N with Condition MOD. Original Local F/A Amount = 1,000.00 Condition MOD = 50.0 New Local F/A Amount = 500.00 |
