Condition

The Condition transaction code is primarily used to describe the condition of ordered parts. The following are examples of Condition options that users can choose from.

The following additional functionality is available from this transaction code.

eMRO_Condition_1

The following information/options are available in this window:
_____________________________________________________________________________________

X/O Exchange Fee Percent

Allows users to charge a percentage against the part being ordered through an Exchange Order Out transaction. This percentage is multiplied against the Unit Sell price of the part being ordered with this Condition (the Unit Sell price is defined for parts and their Conditions through the Sell but_sell_small_green button of the P/N Master). The resulting figure is then entered in the X/O as its Exchange Fee.
This functionality only takes place when Production Switch CCLISTCOND is set to Yes. When set to No, or if there is no Unit Sell associated to the part condition, then the X/O's Exchange Fee must be entered manually.
For more information refer to Switch CCLISTCOND via the Production Switches Manual, to the Exchange Order Out Detail, General Tab via the Customer Orders Training Manual, and to the Sell Button via the P/N Master section of the Settings Training Manual.

R/N Unit Cost Percent

Allows users to charge a percentage against the part being ordered through a Rental Order transaction. This percentage is multiplied against the Unit Sell price of the part being ordered with this Condition (the Unit Sell price is defined for parts and their Conditions through the Sell but_sell_small_green button of the P/N Master). The resulting figure is then entered in the R/N as its Unit Cost.
This functionality only takes place when Production Switch CCLISTCOND is set to Yes. When set to No, or if there is no Unit Sell associated to the part condition, then the R/N's Unit Cost must be entered manually.
For more information refer to Switch CCLISTCOND via the Production Switches Manual, to the Rental Order Detail, General Tab via the Customer Orders Training Manual, and to the Sell Button via the P/N Master section of the Settings Training Manual.

S/O Unit Cost Percent

Allows users to charge a percentage against the part being ordered through a Sales Order transaction. This percentage is multiplied against the Unit Sell price of the part being ordered with Condition 'NEW' (the Unit Sell price is defined for parts and their Conditions through the Sell but_sell_small_green button of the P/N Master). The resulting figure is then entered in the S/O as its Unit Cost.
This functionality only takes place when Production Switch CCLISTCOND is set to Yes. When set to No, or if there is not Unit Sell with Condition 'NEW' associated to the part, then the S/O's Unit Cost must be entered manually.
For more information refer to Switch CCLISTCOND via the Production Switches Manual, to the Customer Order Detail, General Tab via the Customer Orders Training Manual, and to the Sell Button via the P/N Master section of the Settings Training Manual.

Value Base On Life Limit checkbox

The Value Base On Life Limit checkbox functions by selecting a P/N Control which will re-evaluate the life limit of the part once the part is returned into inventory.
When the Value Base On Life Limit checkbox is selected, the P/N Control field is displayed.
This functionality will calculate for parts that have a designated 'Life Limit Control' and have entered the system through the following transactions:

  • Return To Stock
  • Rental Order Receiving
  • Repair Order Receiving
  • Exchange Order Out Receiving

For additional information, refer to Value Base On Life Limit checkbox.

P/N Control

The P/N Control field works in conjunction with the Value Base On Life Limit checkbox. This field allows the user to establish a P/N Control. The Life Limit of the P/N Control will be re-evaluated once the part is returned to Inventory.

Note: The P/N Control field is only available when the Value Base On Life Limit checkbox is selected.

Value of Part Based on Condition

The Value of Part based on Condition field allows the user to establish a value of a part based on a Condition Transaction Code. Once this Condition is selected during the Order Receiving process of an Exchange Order Out, the Local F/A Amount for Part Number will be re-evaluated based on the Value of Part based on Condition percentage. For additional information, refer to Value of Part based on Condition.

Note: This functionality only works for Exchange Order Out transactions.

Spec2K Condition

Allows users to enter a Condition that is recognized by the Spec2K interface.

but_Interface (gry) This field is part of a customized interface. For more information consult the appropriate Interface Administrator.
