The Open button allows the user to change the status of a Customer Contract from 'Closed Contract' to 'Under Revision.'

Note that while the status of the contract is 'Closed Contract', all of the fields are greyed out and can not be edited. A contract can only be edited when it is in 'Under Revision' status.

Select a contract in 'Closed Contract' status and click on the Open button.

The system displays the following pop-up message asking the user if they would like to save the revision before re-opening the existing contract. Select 'Yes' to save the revision.

Note: Revisions for a contract can be viewed via the Revision tab.

The status of the contract has been updated to 'Under revision'. Notice that many of the fields are now available to be edited. The End Date has been updated from 03/01/2018 to 03/31/2018. Save the change. The user will have to release this revision for authorization before the contract can be available for use.
