Recurrent P/N, General Tab

From the General tab of the Recurrent P/N window, basic information for the Recurrent P/N Item is listed. The Status of the Item can be modified which will then be reflected in the Recurrent P/N Explorer.

 

The following information/options are available in this window:

Status

The current status of the recurrent item. These fields can be changed manually.

Alert - Indicates the Recurrent Item is in Alert status. This is the default status once the Item is triggered. At this point the Item must be investigated.

Open - Indicates the Recurrent Items in Open status. This status is selected once the Item has passed an initial investigation and is currently being addressed.

Closed - Indicates the Recurrent Item is in Closed status. This status is selected once the Item has been resolved.

Cancel - Indicates the Recurrent Item has been Canceled. This status is selected if the Item is determined to be invalid or unnecessary.

Recurrent

The auto-generated number of the Recurrent Item. This field (in this window) cannot be utilized to search for other Recurrent Items; Recurrent P/N Items can only be selected via the Recurrent P/N Explorer.

Chapter/Section

The ATA Chapter and Section associated to the part through the P/N Master, General tab. These fields can be modified for the Recurrent Item.

Note: For part reliability, the ATA Chapter/Section does not drive the Recurrent P/N Item functionality. For part reliability, these fields are informational.

P/N

The Part Number reference for the aircraft part. This P/N has been configured in such a way as to trigger Recurrent Item alerts whenever an unscheduled removal threshold is reached through the P/N Master, Reliability tab. Removals with the Unscheduled radio button selected in the A/C P/N Transaction window will affect the part's reliability.
