Deciding to Use the Tech Support DispositionThe Tech Support Disposition Explorer helps manage, fix, and re-route recurrent items in Alert or Chronic status. This explorer option is applicable for Recurrent Items created for Defect Reports and Part Number unscheduled removals. Items must first go through the Recurrent Item Authorization process. If this explorer option is not being utilized, Recurrent Items can follow the basic Open/Closed/Canceled tracking options. 'Open' indicates that the Recurrent Item is determined to be valid. 'Closed' indicates that the Item has been resolved or adequately addressed. 'Canceled' indicates that the Item is determined to be invalid. These statuses can be modified manually from the Recurrent Item, General tab. Note: These options can be chosen for utilization depending on a company's unique protocols. |
