From the E/C Parts and Tools Costing tab, a company can make specifications regarding the financial information associated to an E/C's relevant Parts and Tools Costing. This information can be utilized by a company to more fully assess financial impacts associated to the Engineering Control.

This window has been taken in two separate screen shots in order to illustrate each field and function.

Note: Depending on the customized prints available to a company, the information presented in this tab may be available through various prints/reports.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Part Information section -

PART NUMBER - The Part Number reference for the aircraft part.

PCN - The parts class and inventory number. This number is typically made up of 8 digits (i.e., 'XXX-XXXX' ).

PART NAME - The description of the part.

EIN NUMBER - The Employer Identification Number related to the part.

REMOVAL RATE - The amount of times the part is removed from an aircraft per 1000 flight hours. The number must be between 0 and 1.

W/C - Indicate the Warranty Condition for the part. Users can write 'Yes' or 'No' or any other alphanumeric value.

DISPOSITION - Select from Scrap, Overhaul, or Make Serviceable.

QTY / AC - The quantity of the part per aircraft.

SPARES - The number of spares available.

COST/PART: NEW - The cost of the part when new.

COST/PART: SHOP - The cost of the part when repaired through the shop.

Created By - The user who created the record.

Created Date - The date the record was created.

Modified By - The user who last modified the record.

Modified Date - The date the record was last modified.

Tooling Information section

PART NUMBER - The P/N of the tool needed to comply with the requirements of the E/C.

PCN - The parts class and inventory number. This number is typically made up of 8 digits (i.e., 'XXX-XXXX' ).

TOOL NAME - The description of the part.

QTY / FLEET - The quantity of the part per fleet.

TOOL COST - The cost of the tool.

Created By - The user who created the record.

Created Date - The date the record was created.

Modified By - The user who last modified the record.

Modified Date - The date the record was last modified.
