The relevant information for the Employee Skill(s) can be entered, as follows:
The following information/options are available in this window: Employee The Employee number or code representing the employee. Status (radio button) The status of the skill can be switched between; active, inactive, and hold (select one radio button). Skill Skill or trade. Required Skill Class checkbox Select this checkbox to have the system automatically 'Activate' or 'Deactivate' the Employee record based on the expiration date of the Skill. For additional information, refer to the Training Course Registration, Skill Tab via Training Course Registration which can be found in the Training manual. A/C Type/Series The Aircraft Type and Series/Fleet assignment. The A/C Type/Series associated with the skill. License The license number that was issued by the authority (usually a ten digit number). Expiration Date checkbox Select this checkbox to indicate that the Employee Skill has an expiration date. The date can then be specified in the next field to the right. Completed checkbox Select this checkbox to indicate that the Employee Skill has a completed date. The date can then be specified. School The school associated with the employee skill. Total Hours The total number of hours attended at the school. Skill Level The level of the skill (if applicable). Rating Rating of this skill (if applicable). _____________________________________________________________________________________ Note: The employee license expiration date is entered and can be tracked using the Employee License Query option in the Training Module. If the Task Card Work In Progress option will be used on Work Orders, the employees must have valid Skills for the Task Cards they wish to sign on to, also if their license date has expired, it will not allow them to sign on. Employee training can be assigned and tracked on the system using the Training Course Registration option in the Training module. The employee skill option allows you to define which Skills an Employee possesses. Multiple skills can be held per employee. This information is used in the Production Module to check if an employee is authorized to update a Task Card for a certain skill. Also check if their license has expired. The information in the Employee skill Table can be automatically updated by the Training Course data (Training Module). |
