A/C Actual Flight Setup and Configuration

Before creating A/C Actual Flights and conducting A/C Actual Flights Closings, administrators must set up the security and revision configurations.

The following is the basic life cycle of an A/C Actual Flight, particularly the setup and configuration:

• The following processes must be conducted before utilizing the A/C Actual Flight process:
  • New Aircraft
  • Location Creation
  • Employee and Skill Creation
• The following Transaction Codes must be set up for the A/C Actual Flight process:
  • Flight Category
  • Crew Member Position
• Additionally, the following Transaction Codes must be set up to create Delays for A/C Actual Flights:
  • Delay
  • Cancellation
  • Delay Control
  • Chargeable Indicator Field (CGI)
  • Delay Code
  • Recode
  • Delay Status
• The listed switches configure some of the features that affect A/C Actual Flight management. For more information, refer to the following switches:

Once all of these configurations have been set up, users can begin an A/C Actual Flight Creation.
