GSE Initial Template Load, General Tab

Select the GSE to load the data for. Select the Find button. The following screen will appear.

 

The following information/options are available in this window:

P/N

The Part Number reference for the aircraft part.

S/N

The Serial Number for the specific serialized part.

Installed Date

The Date that the part was Installed.

Installed Time

Time of part installation.

Installed Position

The position on the aircraft of the installed part.

P/N Description

The description of the part.

P/N Category

The category of the part as defined in Settings/ Explorer/ System Transaction Code Explorer/ Settings/ P/N Category (e.g. Rotable, Consumable, Repairable) and entered for the particular part in the P/N Master.

Set Blank Conditions but_set_blank_conditions_small button

The condition for all parts can be set by selecting this button. Enter a condition. Upon leaving the window, the system will set the selected condition to all parts. This is especially handy when (i.e. buying a new GSE that has only new parts installed).

P/N E/C button

Select this button to opens P/N EC window where the user may enter or edit EC/s for the selected Part Number.

Delete button

Select this button to delete the Part Number from the initial load table.

E/C but_release_small button

When selected, a screen with all E/Cs that are effective for the aircraft in question will be opened. It allows you to view the status of the EC, view or edit the schedule for this specific aircraft via the Effectivity button and view compliance information via the Compliance but_compliance_sm button. The data is loaded from the Aircraft Positions configuration file (as per sister ship configuration which is set up in Settings/Update/P/N Master GSE). It is possible to enter most of the serial numbers, and exit the option until the rest of the data can be entered.

Part Numbers can be updated (if required) and Serial Numbers entered, along with installation date and time.

Once all the data is entered, select the Save button. The system will then request any assembly data or any Time Control data as required.

The GSE unit can then be operated on the system as normal.
