The Vendor P/N Repair Capability, Vendor Global Warranty tab is informational only. This information is populated from the Vendor Master Warranty tab. The Vendor Global Warranty tab will only populate if the specified vendor, entered in the General tab of the Vendor P/N Repair Capability window, has warranty set up. This allows the user the option of using the current vendor warranty or overriding the vendor warranty with new warranty information for that specified part number which can be set up in the Warranty tab of the Vendor P/N Repair Capability window.
The following information/options are available in this window: Warranty PO/EX/LO Hours/Cycles/Days The number of installed hours/cycles/days the aircraft and/or A/C component(s) is under warranty for PO, EX and LO transactions. A/C Days - The number of days the aircraft and/or A/C component(s) is under warranty for PO, EX and LO transactions. This is regardless of whether the part is installed or not. Warranty RO Hours/Cycles/Days The number of installed hours/cycles/days the aircraft and/or A/C component(s) is under warranty for Repair Order transactions. A/C Days - The number of days the aircraft and/or A/C component(s) is under warranty for Repair Order transactions. This is regardless of whether the part is installed or not. Earliest checkbox When selected, the warranty for a component will expire once one of the following (hours/cycles/days/A/C days) reaches the warranty limit first. When the checkbox is de-selected, the warranty will only expire once ALL warranty limits are met. _____________________________________________________________________________________ |
