The P/N Interchangeability, Vendor tab allows users to enter vendor specific information regarding the interchangeable part.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Vendor

The system code for the service/part provider.

Prefer checkbox

Select this checkbox if this Vendor is to be preferred.

PMA checkbox

The Parts Manufacturer Approval. Select this checkbox to differentiate what parts are aircraft OEM manufacture parts versus generic parts manufactured. This allows a manufacturer to produce and sell these parts for installation on aircraft type certificated products. This is informational only.
