The P/N Total Time Breakdown is an informational window that provides users with a listing of all relevant times for a part, including: Initial Receiving & Added Times, History Installed Times Accumulated, Flight Time Since Install and the Total amount of time.

To access this window, select the Time Breakdown button from the Inventory Transaction Detail window.

The P/N Total Time Breakdown window will appear in query mode.

Initial Receiving & Added Times

The Z logs contains the times accumulated against the part at the time of receipt. If the part was new when it was received, there would be no time accumulated against the part. If the part had hours accrued against it when it was received, this information would be set up in the Order Receiving or Receiving Inspection at initial receipt of the part. The P/N Time Adjustment in Technical Records allows the user to add or subtract any times as required (i.e. errors or in hour tracking at initial receipt).

Note: The Z Log transaction type represents the initial times at initial entry whereas PN/TM/ADJ will show when the PN Time Adjustment feature is used.

History Installed Time Accumulated

This is the history of all A/C's the part has been removed from and all accumulated time per aircraft since installation.

Note: The history of the time accrued against the A/C will not appear in this field until the Part has been removed from the A/C.

Flight Time Since Install

All flight logs and flight times accrued against this part which is currently installed on this A/C. Use the scrollbar to view all flight dates, hours and cycles. The Total calculates all flight hours and cycles for the part while installed on this A/C.

Note: Once the part has been removed from the aircraft, this becomes part of the History Installed Time Accumulated information.

Total

The Total time is (Initial Receiving & Added Times + History Installed Time Accumulated + Flight Time Since Install).
