From the Shop Work Order Bid Sheet window, select the New button to access the Request For Quote window. From this window, the user may request a quote for work.

In the Quote Rates section, the user may enter any contractual limitations which serve to establish an agreement between the customer and the vendor even before the actual quote breakdown is entered. Once this information is populated, the user may select the Work Order the quote is required for and enter any other relevant data.

Upon entering the necessary information, select the Find button to access the Request For Quote Detail, which can also be opened from the initial Shop W/O Bid Sheet window through the Request button.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Bid No

This is a system generated number which is assigned to the Shop W/O Bid Sheet upon creation.

Status

The status of the Work Order Bid Sheet.

Bid Category drop down

Select from one of the following Bid Categories:

• W/O
• T/C
• E/C
• W/O Breakdown

Task Card

The Task Card / Job Card that details the scheduled maintenance work. This field only appears when the T/C Bid Category is selected.

E/C

The Engineering Control that specifies aircraft or component scheduled maintenance intervals. This field only appears when the E/C Bid Category is selected.

Third Party checkbox

Select this checkbox if the Shop Work Order is a Third Party Work Order.

W/O

The Shop Work Order reference number.

Priority

The priority of the Work Order (e.g., Urgent).

Requested By

The name of the user who is requesting the quote. This information will be auto populated.

Requested Date

The date the quote was requested. This information will be auto populated.

Description

Enter a description for the requested quote.
