Manual Master, General Tab

Select the New button to create a new Manual Control or select the Find button to locate an existing Manual Control record.

Note: This is not an actual Manual being entered, it is only a template. The Manual template contains the basic information about the Manual such as description, effectivity, and authorization Steps.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Manual

The title of the manual.

Active checkbox

This checkbox is selected to mark the status of this Manual active in the system. This checkbox is selected by default.

Note: If this checkbox is deselected and the Manual is saved as 'Inactive', a soft warning will appear if a user attempts to use this manual when creating a Manual Registration. For additional information, refer to Manual Registration Detail, General Tab via Manual Registration of the Library Training Manual.

Manual Description

A description of the Manual.

Manual Category

The type/category of the Manual.

Vendor

The system code for the service/part provider.

Manufacturer

The manufacturer associated with the Manual.

Manual Use

The manual purpose as entered during manual registration.

Manual Website

The website related to the Manual.

ATA Chapter, Section, Paragraph

The ATA Chapter, Section, Paragraph related to the Manual.

G/L

The General Ledger account(s) reference used for financial control throughout the system.

Schedule Revision Days

The number of days between revision issuance per the Manual vendor.

No. of Volumes

The total number of volumes contained in this Manual.
