WOACTYPEMAN - A/C Type Mandatory in Work Order
The purpose of the following switch is to set the application to allow aircraft that have not been entered into the system and to also make the A/C Type/Series field mandatory for that A/C. In the Release to Service forms, this information must be provided in conformance with your organization's compliance standards.
A/C Type Mandatory in Work Order

Switch Set to Yes:
When set to Yes, the A/C Type field in the Work Order window is mandatory when an A/C is entered into the A/C field. The system will allow the user to enter an A/C that has not been entered in the system and specify an A/C Type from the A/C Type tran code list provided.
In the Work Order detail window, when an A/C is entered in the A/C field, the A/C Type becomes mandatory and the field is automatically populated with the designated A/C Type.
Note: The A/C and A/C Type is specified in the Settings module, A/C Master window. For more information please refer to the A/C Master, General Tab, via the Settings Training Manual.
The system allows the user to enter an A/C that has not previously been entered into the system. However, when an unknown A/C is entered in the A/C field, the A/C Type field becomes mandatory and the user can select from the list of A/C Types available.
If the user attempts to leave the A/C Type blank after an A/C is entered in the A/C field, the following hard warning is displayed.
Switch Set to No:
When set to No, the A/C Type field in the Work Order window is not mandatory when an A/C is entered into the A/C field. The system will not allow the user to enter an A/C that has not been entered in the system.
In the Work Order detail window, when an A/C is entered in the A/C field, the A/C Type field is automatically populated with the designated A/C Type.
If the user attempts to enter an unknown A/C into the A/C field, the following hard warning is displayed.
