Packing and Shipping Header, Other Tab

When editing or creating a new Packing and Shipping entry, users can enter additional shipment information into the Other tab. The information added will be located throughout the Packing and Shipping Print form and will help identify various International Trade and Arms Regulation (ITAR) related requirements.

The following information/options are available in this window:

Scheduled Ship Date

The date the package is scheduled to be shipped.

Intermediate Consignee

The intermediary in a foreign country who completes the delivery to the ultimate consignee.

Forwarder

The organization or vendor who forwards the shipment (e.g.: freight forwarder).

Mode of Transport

The method of transportation for the shipment, as defined in the Transaction Code.

LAF Inventory Number

Load-alliviation function inventory number.

Export License Number

The export license number regarding the forwarder, as defined in the Transaction Code.

U.S.M.L.

Information regarding the United States Munitions List.

• If 'ITAR STATEMENT' is selected in the Invoice Footer Statement section below, the U.S.M.L. field will default to 'CAT VII.'
• If 'NON-ITAR STATEMENT' is selected in the Invoice Footer Statement section below, the U.S.M.L. field will default to 'N/A.'

  Note: These defaults can be manually edited by selecting into the text box.

AES ITN

The Automated Export System (AES) Internal Transaction Number (ITN).

Reason for Export

Reason for exporting said parts. When creating a new shipment, this field will be auto-populated. The defaulted note reads: 'A/C parts being shipped for maintenance & up keep of LAC L-100 Fleet.' Users can manually edit or remove the statement by selecting into the textbox.

Invoice Footer Statement

The optional footer statement listed at the bottom of the print regarding the International Trade and Arms Regulation (ITAR).

NONE - A footer statement will not be included in the print.

ITAR STATEMENT - A shipment containing only ITAR parts. The footer statement is controlled through the Packing and Shipping configuration Switch PSFOOT.

NON-ITAR STATEMENT - A shipment containing only NON-ITAR parts. The footer statement is controlled through the Packing and Shipping configuration Switch PSFOOT.
